THANKSGIVING changes - 2022

The end of an era, and the beginning of something new.

Dear friends,

We are so grateful to you for bringing our vegan Thanksgiving meals into your homes, year after year, since 2009. It's difficult to share that we won't be carrying on the tradition this year. It's difficult because we don't want to disappoint you, and also because we genuinely love being a part of your families' traditions. We love the photos you share, the stories of how easy the holiday was for you because of our cooking; and the retellings of staunch omnivores scarfing down our stuffing. 

This year, we will instead offer a series of warm and bountiful Thanksgiving-inspired dinners in the Pantry dining room, by reservation; donating some proceeds to Woodstock Farm Sanctuary.

The last few years, Thanksgivings have meant hard, long work days and nights for us, and along with extra costs we incur simply because it's a race to the clock to prepare such a large volume of very fresh food, working this way has become prohibitive. The cost of the rental refrigerated trailer and its accompanying insurance alone doubled in a year, and we haven't turned a profit in the last few. 

We are and always have been extra thankful for you, snd though it is disappointing, we ask for your understanding in our decision. We look forward to dinners this year on November 17, 18, 1, 21, 2 and 23.
