A Cooperative Effort

Mariposa co-op, providers of healthy, locally-grown and sustainably produced food for almost 40 years, is growing! To help with the expansion, they're hosting a two-day craft fair and flea market (free admission!) this weekend in their soon-to-be home at 4824 Baltimore Avenue (West Philly, kids! Talkin' to you.).Then on Monday, you're invited to bring your Valentine for the "I Heart Mariposa Co-op" Dance Party from 8p-midnight. A donation on a sliding scale is required for attendance.And here's where Miss Rachel's Pantry comes in! At the weekend craft fair and flea market and also at the Valentine's day dance, they'll be raffling off dinners and desserts for two from local vendors, including yours truly!We've given Mariposa a dinner for two gift certificate nestled in a kitschy polka dot oven mitt.
